Abstract
This paper explores the transformative role of fine art in peace-building across Northeast, North Central, and Northwest Nigeria, affected by insurgency, ethno-religious conflict, and rural insecurity. Through interviews with selected artists and analysis of their work, the study investigates how visual art and performance arts foster healing, dialogue, and social cohesion. The findings reveal that art serves not only as a medium of expression but also as a tool for resistance, reconciliation, and community engagement.
